Spirit week and the fall festival was the best of all this week. Seeing everyone dress up for Disney charters, dressing like the 50s, 60s, and other different customs were amazing. Seeing just the whole school dressing up with wonderful customs and evening seeing Ms. Jones wearing a custom was just everything. Being apart of the fall festival was the best part of the week, helping my DC classwork and under class with the trunk or trick was the great. I enjoyed giving out candy with Kayla and seeing teacher and staff members with their kids. Being at the fall festival I got to meet a lot of our DC juniors and other students at the AAST that I haven't seen before. Watching Lexi dance with the dancers had me joining in to show them some of my moves. For most of this week I have been recreating my Wake Up Carolina poster design, because my first one was some how deleted. Sadly later, on during the week I figure out my work was saving to trash. Other then my work being save to the trash, I creating a better poster then before. What I like about my poster is that I had a different concept then everybody else. Everybody else poster were with pills or showing someone with the use of drugs. On my poster I had big bold letters say "Drugs Drag You Down Down Down." I also put little graves on the bottom of my poster with the Wake Up Carolina logo. After I finish my first poster, I started to make another one but with the time it was hard to finish. I kind of ready for the representatives to come judge us but then again I'm not sure. Seeing a lot of my classmates posters in some juniors poster gives me a good feeling of who the judges might choose. If I don't win the Wake Up Carolina poster contest, then that's fine. Making the poster it self meet a lot to me, especially knowing some people who have had a bad addiction with drugs. I honestly think this program is a great start of getting people to stop using drugs or to show mid-teenagers and elem. that drugs isn’t good for you.
